Skate at Home Ramp Usage Policy -

The Skate at Home ramps are specifically engineered and manufactured for residential use only. These ramps are intended to provide a safe and enjoyable skating experience within private property settings such as driveways, garages, or backyards.
It is important to note that these ramps are not designed, tested, or approved for installation in public skateparks or other community recreational facilities. Placement in public environments may expose the ramps to usage conditions beyond their intended scope, which could compromise safety, durability, and compliance with local regulations.
By adhering to this policy, customers help ensure:
•     ✅ Safe operation within the intended environment
•     ✅ Proper maintenance and longevity of the ramps
•     ✅ Compliance with liability and usage restrictions
Reminder: Any use of Skate at Home ramps outside of private residential settings, including public skateparks, is strictly prohibited.

Shipping-

Shipping and delivery may vary by product. The cost of shipping to the 49 states in the continental United States is included in most—but not all—of our products. Each product description will state whether shipping is included in the price or added separately. Some products may have additional shipping and handling fees. For all shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, or international destinations, please email us with your complete address for more information regarding shipping and handling costs. We ship smaller ramp products via UPS Ground service. The average time from when you place an order to when you receive it is 7–10 business days, depending on your location. You will be notified with a tracking number when your order is placed. Expedited shipping is available, but it can be very expensive due to the size and weight of our packages. Expedited shipping is an additional cost to you, depending on your location and time sensitivity. Please contact us for information on expedited shipping.

  Halfpipe Shipping times -

We ship Halfpipe ramps using LTL (less‑than‑truckload) freight carriers. The average time from when you place an order to when you receive your halfpipe is 2–4 weeks, or 3–6 weeks during very busy periods, depending on your location. You will be notified with a tracking number when it becomes available.

 Ramp Surface Shipping-

We ship Skatelite using LTL (less‑than‑truckload) freight carriers. We strive to shop freight rates to obtain the best price for you; however, we cannot guarantee that you will receive the lowest available freight cost. Skatelite and Ramp Armor are generally drop‑shipped directly from the factories to you. The average time from when you place an order to when you receive it is 7–14 business days, depending on your location. You will be notified with a tracking number when it becomes available.

Delivery of Halfpipes or Ramp Surfaces-

The freight or delivery company will contact you to schedule the delivery of Halfpipes and Skatelite. The delivery driver will use a liftgate to lower the crate or shipment to your driveway area (if applicable). Liftgate service can only be used on an asphalt or concrete driveway (no gravel or dirt driveways) and may be subject to additional restrictions or requirements.

If necessary, the driver may open the crate or shipment and hand the ramp pieces down to your driveway area. Please be prepared to assist the driver (outside of the truck) by having a helper and the tools needed—such as a hammer and drill—to safely unload the Halfpipe crate or Skatelite shipment.

Please inspect all items carefully before signing the bill of lading or delivery receipt. If the delivery driver does not note any damage on the bill of lading or receipt before you sign it, you will not be refunded or receive replacement parts.

You understand and agree that the shipping company and Ramptech are separate companies. Ramptech has no control over the shipping company and is not liable for any actions or omissions of the shipping company or its employees or agents. You are responsible for any additional shipping charges that may occur due to restricted‑area deliveries, missed delivery appointments, or unforeseen charges billed to Ramptech.

The Halfpipe specialty materials (CNC‑cut and drilled panels, Skatelite, coping pieces, hardware, railing pieces, and more) ship directly from us. A bill of lading (BOL) will be sent to you, and the freight company will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.

The Halfpipe lumber and plywood will be delivered separately by a local building supply company near you. They will also contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. You will need to make some basic cuts on the lumber and plywood. We will include the cut list required for the Halfpipe lumber and plywood.

 Damaged shipments-

We do our best to ensure that all shipments are properly packed and protected from damage during transit. If damage occurs, we require a detailed description and photographs of the damage so that we can assess the affected product. The delivery driver must note “Damaged” on the receipt or bill of lading. If, at our discretion, the damage can be easily remedied, we will replace the damaged items at no cost to you. We may elect to file a damage claim with the shipper. Please inspect your Ramp Kit, Grindrail, or Ramp package carefully before signing the shipment receipt or bill of lading.

International Orders/Shipments-

Creating and fulfilling international shipments can take 3–5 weeks to process and complete; in some cases, it may take longer. Specialized shipment containers and crates may need to be fabricated for these orders. Ramptech is not responsible for the actual transport (ocean or air freight) of the products. All international shipments are custom‑made for the customer and are non‑refundable. All customs duties, taxes, and related charges must be paid by the customer and are not the responsibility of Ramptech.
